šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗ During the ongoingĀ European Hydrogen WeekĀ in Brussels, we are delighted to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) by members of the 3 Seas Hydrogen Council! This document marks a collective decision to develop a white paper šŸ“ that will outline the key directions for the green reindustrialization of Central and Southeastern Europe.

🟢 What will the white paper include?

It will be a strategic analysis focusing on green reindustrialization and the future of hydrogen in the Three Seas region. Its main areas of focus will include:

šŸ“Š Strategic perspective on demand and supply – an analysis of the region’s energy needs and the potential for importing and locally producing green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol.

Ā šŸš› Logistics and infrastructure – proposals for optimal transport corridors (TEN-T) and the identification of key import hubs in the Adriatic and Baltic regions.

Ā ā™»ļø Sustainability and ESG – recommendations on implementing ESG principles and managing local resources responsibly and efficiently.

Ā šŸ“œ Addressing regulatory challenges – an analysis of EU RFNBO requirements (42% by 2030, 60% by 2035) and recommendations on how to meet these standards effectively.

Ā šŸ“” Market development – guidelines for strengthening local industries and promoting hydrogen-related technologies in key sectors such as fertilizers, steel, and maritime transport.

The white paper will serve as a key advisory document for the European Commission šŸ‡ŖšŸ‡ŗ, national governments, and industry leaders.
